Orange Walk is a growing town based around the sugar cane industry and has tourist attractions such as Lamani close by, Corozal Bay and plenty of Lagoons to go and visit.
There are plenty of restaurants and street food to enjoy, the main one being orange walk tacos, totally different to the Mexican taco. The town square and market area is buzzing with people and plenty of market stalls for all your fruit and vegetables. There are several larger supermarkets were you can purchase all the some goods that in the past you’d only find in Belize City.
Orange Walk is one of the cheapest places to live in Belize for example a 5 gallon jug of water is just BZ$1.50 for a refill, in other parts of the country its BZ$5.00 or more.

The road system surrounding Orange Walk makes traveling to the International Airport 3/4hrs away, Belize City approximately an 1.5hrs, Belmopan 2hrs and Corozal 1hr away.
To travel down south to Placencia or Hopkins for beautiful beaches it’s about 3.5 – 4hrs.
The local airport has flights going to all domestic airports in Belize, used by Tropic Air and Maya Airlines.
San Pedro is only a 15 minute flight away making this an ideal for location for those who do business in San Pedro and want a property on the mainland.
The Mexican Border town of Chetumal is about an 1 1/2 hr drive away.
